Tri-County Head Start/Quality Early Childhood Programs is still accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year. Applications can be made for the Butler Child Development Center and Por Dia Preschool in Cortez, Teddy Bear Preschool in Dolores, and Mancos Early Learning Center in Mancos.
Head Start is a federally funded program that provides a preschool setting at no cost for children ages 3 to 5 for income-eligible families. A nutritious breakfast and lunch are provided as part of the program. Families of children with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
