Millwood Junction will host a benefit to help with medical expenses for Barbara Welch at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. Welch a Mancos resident, was injured recently in an automobile accident.

The event features music by Dave Mensch and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.

Donations of $10 will be accepted at the door, and those in attendance can participate in an auction of several weekend get-a-way packages. All proceeds will benefit Welch's medical expenses.

Mancos Valley Bank is also accepting donations.
