The Mancos Marshal’s Office is now fully staffed.
Jared Farnsworth was sworn in as a new deputy marshal at the regular meeting of the Mancos Board of trustees on Nov. 13.
“Right now, we do have four on staff at the Marshal’s Office, which is great,” said Mayor Queenie Barz after administering the oath to Farnsworth.
She added that the town is currently accepting applications for a fifth position in the office.
Prior to joining the Mancos team, Fansworth was employed with the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, according to Marshal Justen Goodall.
Serving alongside Goodall and Fansworth in the Marshal’s Office are Sergeant Brad Ray and Deputy Michael Morris.
