Ending the season much in the same way that they began, the Dolores Bears football team once again found themselves on the wrong side of a blowout.
Playing on the road against the Ignacio Bobcats on Friday, Oct. 25, the Bears defense struggled while their offense remained stagnant, leading to a 50-0 loss.
Leading the way for the Bobcats was quarterback Addison Jones, who threw for 407 yards and five touchdowns.
Ignacio's Blaine Mickey also hurt the Bears with two touchdown runs and one fumble recovery.
With the loss, the Bears concluded their season with a 1-7 record.
