Dogs and mushers fly through Silverton

Races draw teams from across region
Dave Eckert races Saturday on the 2-mile track set up for the Silverton Flying Sled Dog Races. Racers found the track far faster than racing at Molas Pass as they have in years past. Dog sled teams can reach speeds from 15 to 20 mph.
