Cortez Elk’s Lodge No. 1789 would like to thank Cortez Wal-mart Supercenter for its continued support of our military veterans. Wal-Mart donates a box of clothes each week that goes to our local veterans as well as to the veteran’s hospital. They have also donated children’s clothes in some of the boxes an we have passed them onto the local women’s shelter to assist families. A special thank-you to the two ladies two ladies that make up the boxes, Lyla and Wendy.
