A semitrailer overturned Monday on Colorado Highway 141 near Slick Rock, closing both lanes of traffic, the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The section of the highway was expected to remain closed for several hours.
About 7:20 p.m., Deputy Marcelinio Mendisco of the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office said the tow truck and Colorado State Patrol were at the scene, but the highway might not be cleared until 9 p.m. CDOT announced via Twitter about 9:15 p.m. that the highway had reopened.
The Colorado Department of Transportation advised travelers to take an alternate route.
