Dean of Southwest Colorado Community College Norm Jones is amazed as Braden Carey makes the half-court shot to win a $1,000 scholarship to the school. Odds of making the halftime competition shot are about 1 in 50. This is the third year in a row that Cortez has beat the odds, and someone has made the shot.
