The Yellow Jacket Fire southwest of Lewis has grown to 395 acres. It was 50 percent contained as of Tuesday.
Smoke from a wildfire in Yellow Jacket Canyon can be seen from Cortez, Dolores and Dove Creek. It is burning on Bureau of Land Management land and is being attacked from the air.
