Lookout Grange's community dinner on Sunday, March 9 at 5:30, Lu Nettleman of the Colorado Plateau Growers Association will be available to chat with folks about growing industrial hemp, or other topics of interest. The Mancos Seed Library will be hosting three seed workshops and a seed exchange in March with "The intelligence of Seeds: Reproductive Biology" on March 10 and "The Abundance of Seeds: Basics of Seed Saving" on March 17. All workshops will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mt. Lookout Grange at 680 Grand Avenue. The Seed Swap will be March 23 at 4 p.m. with a potluck and raffle to follow.
