1:57 p.m. Two men allegedly painted graffiti the back of a feed shed in the 7100 block of County Road 25. Video footage captured the incident from a distance, but the suspects could not be identified.
Thursday, Sept. 3
1:04 p.m. A woman was arrested on an active warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center window, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Tuesday, Sept. 8
11:18 a.m. A man was remanded into custody at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. He was transported to the detention center.
1:38 p.m. A female inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Wednesday, Sept. 9
9:37 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
Thursday, Sept. 10
11:30 a.m. A Husqvarna battery and charger were reported missing in the 1100 block of Central Avenue. The battery and charger were seen in a resident’s apartment through the window. When confronted, the man returned the items. He was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
12:44 p.m. A man driving an RV allegedly hit the guardrail by the student parking lot at Dolores school campus, 1301 Central Ave. Four wooden pillars were broken in half, and the RV sustained moderate damage. No charges were filed at that time.
Friday, Sept. 11
11:16 p.m. A man drove off the road and fled the scene in the area of Colorado Highways 145 and 184. Officers observed several open beer cans in the vehicle. The driver was not located.
Saturday, Sept. 12
4:24 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of driving without a license in the 12000 block of County Road 25. She was pulled over on suspicion of speeding, and dispatch confirmed her license was invalid. The vehicle was turned over to a passenger.
Monday, Sept. 14
10:11 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving with a revoked license in the 21000 block of County Road G. His license had been revoked for being a habitual traffic offender. He was initially pulled over for having an illuminated LED light bar.
Tuesday, Sept. 15
9:25 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of burning hay, wood and trash during a fire ban in the 20500 block of County Road 21. The fire was extinguished.
3:21 p.m. Four people were trespassed from private property, and a woman was cited for criminal mischief in the 24500 block of County Road L. The woman claimed her dog jumped out of a vehicle and while attempting to retrieve him, a portion of the fence was knocked down and her vehicle became stuck in the mud, causing large ruts.
9:06 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
10:09 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 41000 block of County Road H.25. He allegedly threw a rock at his stepfather during a verbal altercation. The rock struck the stepfather’s cheek and caused a bruise and some bleeding.
11:25 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
11:28 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for vehicular eluding, tampering with evidence, theft, driving under restraint, throwing missiles, speeding, reckless driving and improperly passing on the left.
10:22 p.m. A woman was arrested on two active warrants for failure to appear in the 6700 block of U.S. Highway 160. She claimed she had been attacked by three women and entered a business, setting off the alarm, in order to get help and call the police.
Thursday, Sept. 17
1:09 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant for failure to appear in the 6000 block of County Road 23.6. The officer was conducting sex offender residence check because the man’s mandatory registration had expired.
6:19 p.m. A possible protection order violation was reported at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. A male inmate attempted to send a letter to a woman who had a protection order against him. It will be further investigated.
