7:12 p.m.: Deputies and the sheriff responded to a call about a man injuring himself in the 10900 block of County Road 29 and arrested him on suspicion of second-degree assault against an officer.
12:00 a.m.: A man reported that his tractor and bulldozer had been disabled on his farm property in the 21000 block of County Road M, but declined to press charges.
Tuesday, Aug. 9
12:25 p.m.: A man was arrested at a residence in the 23900 block of County Road M on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence and child abuse.
Wednesday, Aug. 10
9:38 p.m.: Acting on a tip, a deputy pulled over a driver in the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 160 and arrested him on suspicion of DUI, failing to drive in a single lane and driving with a revoked license.
11:48 a.m.: A man remanded by Montezuma District Court, 109 W. Main St., was transported to the Montezuma County jail.
2:06 p.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.
Thursday, Aug. 11
9:49 a.m.: A man remanded by Montezuma County Court, 109 W. Main St., was taken to the Montezuma County jail.
12:49 p.m.: A man who was wanted on two warrants was arrested in the 2500 block of E. Main St. on suspicion of reckless driving and driving with a suspended license after being pursued by deputies.
8:46 p.m.: After a man reported a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Railroad Ave. in Dolores, a deputy located the pickup at a Dolores restaurant, then arrested the man on an active warrant.
Friday, Aug. 12
10:43 a.m.: A female inmate at the Montezuma County jail was served with a warrant.
Saturday, Aug. 13
6:42 a.m.: A deputy assisted Cortez police in pursuit of a pickup for nearly 15 minutes after a report of an attempt to steal a trailer at Mesa Verde Motor Sports. The pickup’s speed reached as high as 100 mph from the time the pursuit began on U.S. 491 near W. Empire St. and N. Broadway and continued east on County Road S, south on County Road 25, and east on County Road P. The deputy ended his pursuit near County Road P and Colorado 145 and later checked nearby roads, but did not locate the vehicle.
5:43 p.m.: A woman in the 41200 block of County Road G was cited for unlawful ownership of a dangerous dog after it reportedly killed one sheep and injured two others in the area since June.
Sunday, Aug. 14
1:03 p.m.: A deputy began investigating a possible third-degree assault in the 9000 block of County Road BB after a conducting a welfare check.
Monday, Aug. 15
11:09 p.m.: A deputy checked on the health of a woman in the 24500 block of County Road 37 in Dolores after a report of a possible disturbance. She reportedly had missed a couple of urinalysis appointments as part of pretrial services.
