An open house to showcase career and technical education at the west campus of Southwest Colorado Community College will be hosted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at 33057 U.S. 160. Refreshments will be served.
Faculty from health careers in Medical Assisting, Nurse Aide, and Emergency Medical Services along with technical programs Cosmetology, Welding and Automotive Service will be available to explain degree options and tour their facilities, labs and shops.
The general community and high school students and their parents are invited to attend to find out what SCCC has to offer. Enrollment is now underway for summer and fall classes. The SCCC west campus is located seven miles east of Cortez, the former San Juan Basin Vocational Technical College building.
