8:00 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance call in front of Manaugh Elementary School, according to a third party, a male was arguing with a female and possibly trying to force her into a white sedan. When the officer located the vehicle and pulled them over, the two were in a loud argument and the female was crying. According to reports from both the male and female, they were both in an argument and the women was outside the car, the male started to drive after the female and asked her to get in the car. She refused and the male forced her into the car. The male was arrested and issued a summons for suspected harassment and domestic violence. Photos of the woman’s injuries during the altercation were also submitted as evidence.
Thursday, Oct. 23
1:18 a.m. An officer observed a vehicle in the middle of the alley near the 100 block of South Elm Street. When the officer asked the female driver what she was doing in the middle of the alley, she said she was waiting for someone. The name she gave was the name of a man who had a felony parole warrant for his arrest. At that time, the officer observed someone running from the house but was unable to catch him. Upon further investigation a trailer was found behind the home and the officers were given permission to search the trailer by the owner. The officer noticed some pills in a small bag on the night stand and other signs of narcotic use. The man inside the trailer was arrested. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a weapon by previous offender and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, Oct. 25
12:30 a.m. A officer responded to a motel in the 600 block of East Main Street to a possible disturbance. A woman quickly exited one of the rooms when asked to do so by the officer and told the officer that she had been hit in the face. The man in the room was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

12:00 p.m. An officer was flagged down near the 600 block of South Washington Street for a possible fight. One man was arrested after it was learned he had been drinking and had an active restraining order prohibiting him from consuming alcohol.
Sunday, Oct. 26
12:07 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a loud noise in the 400 block of South Chestnut and discovered that a parked vehicle had been hit. After investigating and photographing the scene, the officer observed a trail of liquid leaving the collision site and pieces of another vehicle at the impact site, which stated the vehicle type. Another officer had located a vehicle by following the trail of liquid. The vehicle was parked near the 400 block of South Market Street with significant damage to the side front of the vehicle. There was a case of Coors beer on the passenger side floor along with a pipe, firearms and a knife. The vehicle was still warm and smelled of alcohol. The man inside the home admitted to driving the vehicle and failed roadside maneuvers. He was arrested for driving under the influence and other traffic offenses.
Sunday, Oct. 26
12:27 a.m. Officers responded to a bar in the 300 block of North Broadway for a report of a fight. Once police were able to separate the suspects and ask them to leave, one of them turned around and stuck his middle finger in the air and said something in Spanish to the officers and tried to re-enter the bar. The man was arrested for trespassing, because he refused to leave the bar after being asked to do so.

10:28 a.m. An officer responded to the Southwest Memorial Hospital for a report of a patient telling hospital staff that he was “Going to get a gun and blow the legs off of the doctors in the hospital.” The man was arrested for harassment.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
2:20 p.m. An officer responded to the Cortez Wal-Mart for a report of a man running off with a shopping cart full merchandise he did not pay for. The man was later located behind a nearby tire store with the $266 in merchandise and the shopping cart.
