Defacing occurred on college-led trip
Fort Lewis College students on an overnight weekend trip defaced ancient Native American ruins on Comb Ridge near Bluff, Utah. FLC has identified the students, but the school will not punish them. Instead, they want to make the students clean the rock wall.
Fort Lewis College students wrote in charcoal on the rock wall of Fish Mouth Cave on Comb Ridge near Bluff, Utah. A mess of graffiti lines the wall, some dating to the 1900s. However, FLC spokesman Mitch Davis called the students’ actions “unacceptable.”
