12:12 p.m. Police responded to the new high school construction site in reference to a stolen paint sprayer.
11:55 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Seventh Street Mobile Home Park, where they found a man that had violated a trespass order and refused to leave. He was arrested.
Wednesday, May 27
12:32 a.m. Police responded to the 1300 block of Melrose Street for a noise complaint. Four underage people at the scene admitted to consuming alcohol. No arrests were made, but one man was issued a summons for disturbing the peace. Records show police responded to the same location for noise complaints a total of five times between April 16 and May 13.
9:33 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle connected to a suspicious activity call and arrested a woman for possession of methamphetamines. She was also charged with multiple traffic violations.
Thursday, May 28
11:57 a.m. A woman reportedly stole several doughnuts from City Market. The doughnuts, totaling $6.40, were recovered. The woman was issued a citation and ordered not to trespass at the business.
7:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to City Park after two men were reported to be unconscious. One man was issued a citation for open container, and another man was taken to the hospital before being transferred to the jail on similar charges.
Friday, May 29
12:47 a.m. Police responded to the 100 block of West Third Street in response to a poison control call. Police found a man who reported he had been maced. He was arrested after officers discovered he was under court order to refrain from alcohol.
1:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Market Street in reference to a woman that was huffing. Upon arrival, police found the woman slumped over in a vehicle. Medics were called. As the officer attempted to retrieve a can of Ultra Duster from the woman’s grasp, the vehicle started rolling backward. Police managed to stop the vehicle by pulling the emergency brake. The woman was arrested for abusing toxic vapors, DUI, possession of an open container and careless driving.
5:51 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance call near Dairy Queen to find a woman who had been hit in the shoulder with a water bottle. Police requested an arrest warrant for the suspect.
10:16 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance on the 500 block of East Arbecam Avenue to find a woman claiming that a man had stolen her prescription pills. The woman was arrested on drug charges after police found pills inside her vehicle.
Saturday, May 30
8:47 a.m. A man reported that a backpack was stolen from his undamaged, locked vehicle on the 700 block of South Cedar Street.
11:32 a.m. A woman reported that four iPods were stolen from her unlocked vehicle at the Sikis Village Trailer Park. The stolen items totaled $820.
Sunday, May 31
12:03 p.m. A woman reported that a .22-caliber stainless steel Taurus revolver and holster were stolen from her vehicle on the 500 block of South Beech Street. The stolen items totaled $325.
Monday, June 1
11:27 a.m. Police responded to the 800 block of Ridge Drive after a 911 caller only said “hurry” before hanging up. Upon arrival, police learned that a man had chased his mom in the backyard with a large stone in an apparent assault attempt. The man also reportedly pushed and repeatedly hit his wife. The man was arrested and charged with assault and domestic violence.
1 p.m. A man reported that his wallet was stolen from his home on the 600 block of North Market Street. The wallet contained a Social Security debit card with $730 in credit.
8:38 p.m. A woman reported that her son’s unlocked 20-inch Redine RaidFW bicycle was stolen from her residence on the 900 block of Brookside Drive.
Tuesday, June 2
1:42 p.m. Police arrested a man in the park for alcohol possession and open container after he was issued a summons for the same offenses just three hours earlier.
2:37 p.m. A woman was arrested for shoplifting $160 worth of panties, hair clips and seed packages at Walmart while her mother waited outside. The woman reportedly had $100 in cash, 3 grams of marijuana and various prescription pills in her possession when booked at the jail.
