Chelsea Jones has been hired by the Montezuma Community Economic Development Association to serve as the organization’s Economic Development Specialist.
Jones is the former economic development coordinator with the town of Mancos and also owns a web and graphic design business. Jones graduated from Pepperdine University in 2007 and relocated to Mancos in 2013 with her husband and two young children.
“Chelsea possesses a great combination of knowledge, talent and enthusiasm and understands the importance of economic development in our community,” said David Hart, Chair of the MCEDA board of directors.
MCEDA, which formed in 2007 after two years of community planning, assists businesses with their growth, expansion and retention plans by being their boots on the ground and resource. The MCEDA board also looks to strengthen key sectors in the Montezuma economy
