For the second consecutive year, coach Chris Trusler and the Dolores Bears hosted the Four Corners Football Camp for area youths.
Almost 30 campers, from kindergarten to eighth grade, participated in the camp held last Friday and Saturday at the Dolores football field.
High school players Tristan Medina and Branden Donaldson, 2014 graduate Casey Davis and the Dolores coaching staff led drills to teach basic fundamentals.
Campers were instructed proper techniques for throwing, catching, blocking and route running. They also broke up into smaller groups to run individual drills at skill positions.
"This is important because it gives the younger kids exposure to football," Trusler said. "And they can come out here and learn good fundamentals and good techniques."
