11:46 a.m. A man reported that a chain saw and various tools were stolen from his vehicle on the 21000 block of County Road P.
Wednesday, July 22
11:40 a.m. Deputies responded to the 25000 block of Colo. 145 on a criminal mischief call regarding a downed fence. Damages were estimated at $1,000.
Monday, July 27
2:56 p.m. Deputies responded to the 18000 block of Colo. 145 on a theft call. A woman reported missing tools and equipment. The case remains under investigation.
Tuesday, July 28
2:20 p.m. While conducting surveillance on the 40000 block of U.S. 160 in Mancos, deputies followed a vehicle to the Bud Farm. A woman was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and a male passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
2:53 p.m. A New Mexico motorist was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and a broken taillight on the 2000 block of U.S. 160.
Thursday, Aug. 6
10:24 a.m. A woman complained about a free-roaming horse near the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road AA.
7:13 p.m. Deputies responded to the 9000 block of County Road BB for a welfare check after three men armed with a potato peeler and an ice pick in Montezuma Creek, Utah, reportedly attacked a man. He was transported to the emergency room, where he received a total of 28 stitches for lacerations on the head, arms and hand.
Friday, Aug. 7
10:57 a.m. Deputies responded to the 6000 block of County Road 24.3 for pedestrians in the roadway. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
1:40 p.m. A man stopped on the 18000 block of Hwy. 145 was ticketed for failing to display a front tag and driving with a suspended license.
1:54 p.m. A woman stopped on the 18000 block of Hwy. 145 was ticketed for lack of insurance after running a stop sign.
Saturday, Aug. 8
11:50 a.m. A man stopped on the 24000 block of County Road G was ticketed for speeding, 47 in a 40 mph. zone, and driving with a suspended license.
3:05 p.m. A man was arrested on the 21000 block of County Road G on an outstanding warrant out of Texas for indecency with a child.
3:40 p.m. A Utah woman reported that a purse was stolen from her vehicle in Dolores.
7:55 p.m. Deputies responded to the Giant station in Dolores for a traffic accident. A man was ticketed for careless driving.
Sunday, Aug. 9
12:06 p.m. Deputies responded to the Vista Verde Trailer Park for a possible assault. No charges were filed in the case. While on the scene, a man arrested on an outstanding warrant was also charged with drug possession after authorities found less than .2 gram of methamphetamine.
4:57 p.m. A Dolores woman reported that a lawn mower left under a tree in an unfenced front yard was stolen on Central Avenue. The mower was valued at $350.
8:36 p.m. Deputies responded to North 18 Street in Dolores for a barking dog. A nuisance notice was left for the owner.
Monday, Aug. 10
11:52 a.m. A man reported that his mountain bicycle was stolen at Phil’s World after he drove off and left it leaning against a fence.
Tuesday, Aug. 11
3:30 p.m. A woman on the 7000 block of County Road 25 reported missing landscape pavers.
Wednesday, Aug. 12
2 a.m. A woman reported she witnessed an unidentified man inside her mother’s vehicle. A handgun was reported missing.
8:30 a.m. Deputies responded to a residence on the 10000 block of U.S. 491 for a domestic disturbance in progress. A man was arrested and charged with harassment and domestic violence.
2:10 p.m. A man reported that his vehicle was damaged on the 42000 block of U.S. 160.
5:15 p.m. A motorist was stopped for speeding and running a stop sign in Dolores. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and running a stop sign.
7:45 p.m. Deputies attempted to serve a summons at a residence on the 25000 block of County Road L. The subject refused to sign the summons.
10:56 p.m. Deputies responded to the 800 block of Central Avenue in Dolores for a reported burglary. An investigation revealed the owner’s dog knocked over a houseplant.
Thursday, Aug. 13
12:11 a.m. A motorist was stopped for driving with one headlight on the 7000 block of U.S. 160. The driver was issued a warning for several traffic infractions and arrested on an outstanding warrant.
5:45 p.m. Two teens were issued verbal warnings for multiple traffic violations while operating all-terrain vehicles on County Road 26.
Friday, Aug. 14
10:11 a.m. A woman reported that her vehicle was vandalized on the 2000 block of Hillside Drive in Dolores.
7:16 p.m. Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Up Town Plaza Trailer Park. A man was arrested for violating a protection order.
Sunday, Aug. 16
10:15 a.m. A man reported a no trespassing sign was vandalized and tires were dumped onto his property on the 11000 block of County Road 22.
Monday, Aug. 17
3:48 p.m. A woman reported that someone had trespassed onto her property on the 13000 block of County Road 29. A trail camera captured images of the unknown suspect’s vehicle.
