The Montezuma-Cortez golf team competed in Montrose on Tuesday and Wednesday last week.
On Tuesday at Black Canyon, sophomore Cristoffer Rudosky led the Panthers with a 72 and finished tied for third, and junior Braden Keetch shot a personal best 88.
Luke Gross and Jens Jorgensen rounded out the group with scores of 115 and 124.
The highlight on Wednesday at Bridges was Gross’ hole-in-one on the 12th hole; he finished with a 134.
Rudosky again led the Panthers with a 78, and placed fifth, while Keetch and Jorgensen shot 95 and 135, respectively.
M-CHS golfers hit the links on Monday at Dalton Ranch in Durango, then return home for a meet at Conquistador Golf Course in Cortez on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
