Mary O’Brien, a multimedia and graphics design instructor for Colorado Community Colleges Online, was given two awards by the online school at a recent conference in Denver. She was honored in the Computer Technologies department with the Instructional Excellence Award. The Instructional Excellence Award is presented each year to those outstanding instructors who exemplify the school’s academic missions statement, who actively support student learning and student success in the classroom, and who demonstrate strengths in our core values and principles of integrity, quality, collaboration, and strategic planning. In addition, she was also given an overall award for the entire Career and Technology Education Division with the Division Instructional Excellence Award.
