The League of Women Voters will meet on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10:15 a.m. at the Mancos Public Library.
Please bring a snack item to share during the two-hour showing of the film “Iron Jawed Angels,” an award-winning depiction of the young activists who put their lives at risk to help American women win the right to vote earlier in the 20th century. The public is invited to this educational event.
Young women are especially encouraged to learn how they gained the right to vote.
