Steve Blackwell’s Ultimate Outdoor and Gun Show will take place May 13-15 at the Montezuma County fairgrounds.
Dubbed “the largest show of its kind in the Four Corners” the event features a diverse array of activities and vendors.
“It’s more than just a gun show,” Blackwell said. “We will have something for everyone.”
He put on a similar event in 2014 that he said attracted “10,000 attendees from all over the U.S.”
The 2014 event featured gun dealers, military organizations, youth groups, ammunition manufacturers, churches, campers, boats, hunting and fundraising groups. Blackwell said the 2016 show will have all that plus more.
“I’m planning a 100-vehicle car show, a tractor pull, a riding lawn mower race, an Indian Rendezvous, motorcycle displays, military exhibit, ATVs, antique tractor exhibit and more,” he said.
Other goals are to get a presidential candidate to attend, a celebrity like Ted Nugent, the National Rifle Association, national hunting organizations, and a kids carnival.
Admission will be $5 per day. Vending will be $55 per day. For more information contact Blackwell at (970) 749-9772 or email at swblackwell@msn.com
