5:17 p.m.: A woman was issued a summons for suspected reckless driving and DUI/DUR after police responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance in a store parking lot.
12 p.m.: An officer responding to a call about an altercation at the Unlimited Learning Center failed to find enough evidence for an arrest.
8:35 a.m. An officer responded to the Montezuma County jail to serve a warrant on a man at the jail.
Monday, Feb. 8
9:10 p.m.: An officer responded to a call about a vehicle in a ditch on County Road 26 and discovered that it had been stolen from the Southwest Memorial Hospital parking lot.
6:40 p.m.: An officer responded to a call about an off-duty officer who reported his wife’s iPhone stolen at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds. The phone was traced to City Market, and a woman was issued a summons for theft and released.
2:29 p.m.: Police responded to a call of a possible drunken driver parked in the 600 block of Wyoming St. and served him a summons for DUI and careless driving.
Sunday, Feb. 7
8:19 p.m.: Police responded to a possible disturbance in the 1300 block of Cottonwood and arrested a man on outstanding warrants from Texas.
7:03 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of W. Seventh St. and issued a summons to a woman for third-degree assault and domestic violence.
10 a.m.: Police responded to a call about a vehicle that had been reported stolen near the Holiday Inn. Video footage indicated that the vehicle had been taken in less than 15 seconds. Police notified the insurance company, which requested a copy of the video.
Saturday, Feb. 6
7:16 p.m.: Police responded to a call about a man with an outstanding warrant at Wal-Mart. The man was transported to the Montezuma County jail, served with the warrant and a trespass notice from Wal-Mart.
5:09 p.m.: Police responded to a call of an unconscious man at the public library, found a second man searching an unconscious man’s pockets in Centennial Park, seized and emptied a bottle of vodka and served the second man a summons for possession of alcohol in the park.
Friday, Feb. 5
8:47 p.m.: Police responding to a tip from a Southwest Drug Task Force agent arrested a resident at the Knight’s Inn on a warrant for failure to appear.
6:56 a.m.: Police responded to a call about an assault at The Bridge Shelter and issued two men summonses for disturbing the peace.
Thursday, feb. 4
7:20 p.m.: An officer responded to a report about a possibly illegal substance found at The Bridge Shelter and transported a man to the county jail on suspicion of possessing meth.
Wednesday, Feb. 4
8:52 a.m.: An officer responded to a call about a damage office door at the Cortez city pool. Security cameras provided no evidence.
