The Mancos Public Library has announced its schedule for several programs for adults, teenagers and children.
The adult programs are:
Adult Computer Class “Introduction to Microsoft Word” from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday: Participants will learn how to create, save, and open files and basic text and document formatting.
Adult Computer Class “Intermediate Microsoft Excel” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 23. Using formulas across multiple worksheets, IF functions, and conditional formatting. Sign up in-person or call the library at 533-7600 to register.

A free legal clinic is offered from 2 to 4 p.m. every second Thursday. It provides service on a first-come, first-served basis or call the day of the clinic to make an appointment.
Indie Lens Pop-Up film, “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution” beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Knit or Crochet at the Library will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays. Join skilled knitting enthusiast Kathy Graf, to knit or crochet. Teenagers and adults are welcome. This is a free program. Limited supplies of knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn are available or bring your own if possible. Spanish speakers trying to improve their English skills are offered a free class from 10 to 11-30 a.m. each Wednesday.
The teen programs are:
Movie night will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. .each first Saturday of the month.
Teen Game Night will be held every third Friday, from 7 to 10 p.m. Participants can hang out, munch snacks, and play video games, board games, chess, and more.
Teen Tech Week at the Library will be March 6 to March 12. Activities will include access to the library outside normal hours to create videos to enter into the Colorado Teen Video Challenge along with sessions on lifeskills, recycling tech into new things, and a digital scavenger hunt.
The youth programs are:
Game Daze is offered from 3:45 to 5 p.m. every Wednesday. It provides youth 8 to 12 years old opportunities to play technologically innovative computer-generated games.
Kids Storytime from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday: offers a bilingual, seasonal story for ages birth through 6 years old.
Movie Monday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. offers free films targeted at elementary-age kids. There is no movie on the second Monday of the month.
