The annual Easter egg hunt in Cortez will be held Saturday, March 26 on the west side of City Park, between Montezuma Avenue and Main Street at Park Street.
Areas will be marked off for youngsters ages 0-3, 4-6 and 7-10 years old. Kids can begin assembling at 9:45 a.m., and the signal for the hunt to begin will be at 10 a.m. This year, the eggs are brightly colored plastic, filled with candy or coins.
It’s sponsored by the Cortez Rotary Club.
This is a fun Easter weekend activity designed for little ones and a potential “Kodak moment” for families. In addition, parents may enroll children up to 5 years old in the Imagination Library program so they can receive a free book in the mail each month courtesy of the Rotary Club.
Arrive on time for the egg hunt – the eggs go fast.
