Don’t put away those skis and snowboards just yet, because Wolf Creek Ski Area has decided to reopen this Saturday and Sunday for a grand finale. Wolf Creek reported 6 inches of fresh snow Thursday. Open Snow predicted an additional 3 to 6 inches of snow for Thursday night and Friday and 2 to 4 inches for Saturday. That could lead to an epic powder day Sunday with another 4 to 7 inches expected to fall. The mountain won’t just be open, it will be 100-percent open with Alberta, Bonanza, Elma, Nova and Treasure Stoke lifts all turning. Lift tickets will cost $43 for adults, $26 for seniors and $24 for children. The ski school also will be open for lessons, and the lodge will be open serving a limited menu. Break out the wax one more time and get in some great turns.
