During the past school year, Dolores Bears Boosters Club has given support to the following organizations and athletics: Paw Prints, cameras; student government, parade entry and participation in Mardi Gras Carnival; Knowledge Bowl, drinks and snacks for Dolores hosted meet; middle school Math Counts; middle school Physics Club; Life Skills, T-shirts for Special Olympics and money toward bicycle; state middle school Destination Imagination, gift cards; sixth-grade camping, homemade goodies; senior class, zoo admission and annual senior breakfast; Operation Graduation, pop and water; sponsor of the “Just Because” scholarship given to a graduating senior; middle school football awards; high school basketball teams, hotel rooms for out-of-town tournament; high school wrestling, helped with new warm-ups; state wrestler’s gift cards and engraving; high school track, helped with new uniforms and meals for state meet; track and field jumping pit rollout runway and liner; high school football, concussion helmets; high school baseball, meals during district, regional, and state playoffs; homecoming week bonfire; and high school banquets (drinks, dinnerware, set up and decorating).
