Rachel and Casey Michael of Mancos are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Ayden Oliver Michael. Ayden was born April 21, 2011, at 2:10 a.m. at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango. He weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. Ayden is welcomed into this world by his big sister Aspen; Uncle Taylor Folmar of Durango; Aunt and Uncle Corbie and Marcus Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas; Grandparents Ken Folmar of Austin, Texas (formerly of Lewis, Colo.); Gail Bertram of Mancos; and Merle and Debbie Michael of Mancos. Proud great-grandparents include Sherman and Kathryn Michael of Aztec, N.M.; David Bertram and the late Alberta Mae Bertram of Indianapolis, Ind.; Virginia and Kenneth Folmar of Yantis, Texas; and Robert and Shirley Taylor of Elkton, Ore.
