A body was found in the car of a Durango woman who went missing Wednesday, Farmington police confirmed Monday.
Last week, a missing persons report was filed for Lois Wisniewski-Baumgartner, 55, who disappeared after an argument and was reportedly emotionally unstable, her daughter, Tori Wilson said.
Farmington police spokeswoman Georgette Allen said a vehicle with plates that returned to Wisniewski-Baumgartner’s 1997 Subaru Outback was found around 11 p.m. Sunday at the Circle S Gas Station at 7101 East Main St. in Farmington. Allen said a female body was in the vehicle, but authorities have not confirmed the identification.
Allen said an autopsy is pending, and police do not suspect foul play.
