Longtime Cortez resident Larry McGee recently rejoined Four Corners Community Bank’s lending team as commercial/ag loan officer.
McGee, who has more than 38 years of lending experience, previously was vice president and loan officer with American AgCredit.
“We’re thrilled to have Larry back on our lending team in Cortez,” said Cortez Market President Steve Slagle. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and familiarity with the area that will be a tremendous asset to us and our community.”
“It is great to be back at Four Corners Community Bank,” said McGee. “Starting in Mancos in 1880, my family has farmed, ranched, and traded in all Four Corners. This area is our home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the agriculture community and commercial operators in Southwest Colorado.”
Originally from Farmington, McGee received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics and finance from Kansas State University, and is an accredited member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He can be reached at 970-564-8840 or mcgee@thebankforme.com.
