The Mancos Public Library plans an all-ages night of open-mic poetry on Friday, Oct. 28, from 6:30-8 p.m.
Time is reserved early in the program for younger children to read or recite their favorite poems, so parents won’t keep them out too late.
Registration is not required to take part in reading.
There will be a poetry book display for those who become suddenly inspired to step up to the mic. Performances are limited to 5 minutes. You can do one long poem or a few shorter poems.
