Dr. Marcelyn LePique, has joined Southwest Medical Group’s Market Street location.
LePique, who has delivered more than 10,000 babies in her career is a board-certified OB-GYN, practices full-circle women’s health. She spent many years as a clinical professor at the University of Washington and attended Washington University in St. Louis as an undergraduate student. She attended medical school at the University of Colorado and completed her internship and residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee. She has been a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1993.
LePique and her husband love Southwest Colorado and are excited to join the team in Cortez permanently. She has a special place in her heart for golden retrievers as well as caring for pregnant women. She has rescued and bred Golden Retrievers for 30 years while practicing medicine. “I love babies and puppies!” she said.
LePique will be accepting new patients at 20 S. Market St. alongside physicians Dr. Daniel Bohle, Leslie Stanwix and Shawna Frost, C-FNP. For more information, call 970-565-4291.
