A childbirth education course about labor and delivery will be offered in the Annex Community Room at 20 S. Market St. in Cortez.
The course is available to moms and birth coaches and is free to patients of Southwest Health System clinics and patients planning to deliver their babies at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
The cost is $25 for nonpatients of Southwest Health System who would like a class close to home.

The course will be instructed by registered nurse Erin Gordanier, and sessions will be added throughout the year.
