Cecil Aaron Dunn, 28, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct. He was ordered to pay $78.50 in fines and costs.
TUESDAY, MAY 31
Bryan D. Randolph, 32, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired, and one count of careless driving. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail-suspended imposition, and sentenced to 12 months probation. He was ordered to pay $647 in fines and costs, and to complete 24 hours of useful community service. He must complete level two education, must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol, and engage in treatment within 15 days. Additionally, he must complete victim impact panel, and all standard conditions of probation such as no alcohol or illegal drug use. The defendant may petition the court for unsupervised probation when all requirements have been completed.
Vearl Nells, 49, of Shiprock, N.M., pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail-suspended sentence, and was sentenced to 12 months probation. He was ordered to pay $568 in fines and costs. He was ordered to complete 24 hours of useful community service, and must attend level two education. Additionally, he must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol, and engage in treatment within 30 days, and must complete Victim Impact Panel. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant may petition the court for unsupervised probation when all requirements have been completed.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1
Joshua W. Hell, 28, of Dolores, received a deferred sentence in regards to one count of dogs not under control. He was ordered to pay $75.50 in fines and costs, and was ordered to keep all of his dogs on his own property. Additionally, he must keep his address current with the court and must not violate any laws, traffic or criminal.
Manuel J. Armendarez, 31, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal mischief-under $500. He was sentenced to five days in jail, with one day credit for time served, and sentenced to 12 months probation. He must pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations of same. Defendant must also write a letter of apology to his mother.
Pradeep Chaudhary, 35, of Hudson, N.H., pleaded guilty to one count of no insurance-owner. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months probation, unsupervised, and was ordered to pay $120.50 in fines and costs. He was ordered to violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and to keep address current with the court. Additionally, he must provide proof of insurance to the court each month.
