Snowshoes workshop to be held at HavilandDurango Nature Studies will host a snowshoe workshop, “Glaciers Then and Now” 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 21 at Haviland Lake.
Participants will meet in the Rapp Corral parking lot, 51 Haviland Lake Road.
The instructor will be program facilitator Brooks Mitchell.
Cost is free for members, and $10 for nonmembers and children 12 and under. Snowshoes are available to rent for $5.
Attendees will learn about different types of glaciers, how and where they form and what they leave behind.
