Cynthia Browning, Clay and Mark Dickson, the children of Dr. John and Rosemarie Dickson, would like to announce the 60th Wedding Anniversary of their parents on June 30, 2011. John and Rosemarie have lived in Cortez since 1958, after moving here from Chandler, Okla.; they arrived in the area in time to see the streets first paved. A retired dentist, Dr. Dickson had a practice in Cortez for 30 years. As happy locals, Dr. Dickson has stayed involved in many civic ventures such as Rotary, while Mrs. Dickson still enjoys playing bridge at the Elks Club with her lady friends.
