Many ribbons and medals were awarded to the Leopard Sharks. The Grand Junction meet included teams from all around Colorado, and as far away as Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah and Illinois. The race consisted of swim, bike and run events. Of the 14 kids that competed at the triathlon, 11 of them are members of the Leopard Sharks.
