Abram Lehi-Horrocks, 36, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment-insults/taunts/challenge, and was ordered to pay fines and costs in the amount of $284.50.
TUESDAY, JULY 26
Gibb N. Lyman, 21, of Bluff, Utah, pleaded guilty to one count of false reporting-false identification. He was sentenced to five days in jail beginning Aug. 3, sentence concurrent with Case No. 10M150, with work release authorized. He was also ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.
Frederick Dishface, 18, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal mischief-under $500 and was sentenced to 24 days in jail, with 24 days credit for time served. He was also sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to perform 96 hours of community service, to be completed by June 26, 2012. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must write a letter of apology to his parents, as well as a 10-page report on the importance of respecting parents, both to be completed by October 25, 2011, the date that a review hearing is set in this matter. He was ordered to violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court. All standard conditions of probation apply.
Leonard Charley Begay, 46, of Kayenta, Ariz., pleaded guilty to one count of careless driving and was ordered to pay $454.50 in fines and costs.
Trevor D. Blair, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with suspended imposition, and 12 months supervised probation. He was ordered to pay $606 in fines and costs, and was ordered to perform 24 hours of community service by June 26, 2012. Defendant must attend victim impact panel, Alive at 25, and level two education and 42 hours of therapy-Track A, and a traditional outpatient program and must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. He must submit to random testing for drugs and alcohol use, and follow all standard conditions of probation, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. The jail sentence is suspended imposition as long as terms of probation are followed.
Sir Everisto D. Lehi, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with suspended imposition, and 12 months supervised probation, to report on this date. He was ordered to pay $1,334.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 24 hours of community service, to be complete by June 26, 2012. He must attend victim impact panel, Alive at 25, and level two education and 52 hours of therapy-Track B, and must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use. Defendant must follow all standard conditions of probation, including no alcohol or illegal drug use, and must engage in treatment within 15 days of this date or jail release. Additionally, defendant must obtain his GED. Suspended imposition of 30-day jail sentence is dependent on all terms of probation being met.
Harry June, 57, of Aztec, N.M., pleaded guilty to one count of driving after revocation-prohibited. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail-suspended imposition. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and was ordered to perform 72 hours of community service to be completed by June 26, 2012, which may be transferred to New Mexico as long as it is equivalent to Colorado and can be arranged through Montezuma County Sheriffs Office. The jail sentence is suspended imposition as long as useful public service is complete and proof is provided to the court at a review hearing set for Jan. 6, 2012.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 27
Chet Douglas Bankert, 45, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under restraint-alcohol-related and received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised. He was given credit for 19 days served, and was ordered to pay in full $791.50 in fines and costs. Conditions of his deferred sentence require that he violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court. He was ordered to complete 24 hours of community service by June 26, 2012.
John Adam Kuykendall, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of second degree trespass-enclosed/fenced property. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 72 hours of community service, to be completed by Jan. 27, 2012.

Jarod Tead Russell, 23, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of second degree trespass-enclosed/fenced property. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 72 hours of community service, to be completed by Jan. 27, 2012.
Kester Lee Bylilly, 38, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of protection order violation-civil, and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. He was also ordered to obtain an alcohol and mental health evaluation at either CARS or RMOMS, and was ordered to consume no alcohol in the next 12 months.
Luz M. Balderama, 27, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment-strike/shove/kick and was sentenced to 15 days in jail with 15 days credit for time served. He was also sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, and was ordered to pay $787.50 in fines and costs. He was ordered to obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations of same, and must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use through probation or provider. Additionally, he was ordered to attend parenting classes.
Robert Vaughn Vetter, 34, of Durango, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired and was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation. He was ordered to pay $447.50 in fines and costs, and must obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation, and follow all conditions of same.
THURSDAY, JULY 28
Anita Kay Bannister, 59, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, pleaded no contest to one count of third degree assault-knowingly/recklessly causing injury, and received a deferred sentence of 12 months. She was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep her address current with the court. Additionally, she was ordered to engage in anger management evaluation that is acceptable to the court and follow all recommendations. Confirmation of appointment is to be submitted to the court within one week of this sentencing date.
