Dear Editor:
To Larry Berger in response to Not What I Believe In, published Aug. 16.
Who do you want to grow your food? The government? Who do you want to build your house? The government? Who do you want to repair your plumbing? The government? Who do you want to remove your gallbladder? The government?
You should live in Cuba or the old USSR or how about China? Nobody has a career there, only jobs working for the government. Is that what you believe in?
The government doesnt make you money; they just take your money and then print more when they run short. Worse than that, they borrow money from other governments. Wouldnt you rather decide where you want your earnings to go?
Who do you think the Tea Party is? They are people like you and me all over this country that are tired of paying more and more to a government that just spends and spends our hard-earned dollars on silly, non-productive, wasteful favors to other government friends without accountability to the people that pay the taxes.
The government only produces government jobs, Who do you think pays for those? That would be us, you and me. We already have way too many government jobs. As for me, Im tired of this ever-increasing government on my payroll and thats what Scott Tipton is trying to stop before this country goes bankrupt.
Hooray for Scott Tipton for standing up for the taxpayer!
