HARLEY is a very playful, and energetic 8-year-old with the demeanor of a puppy. He likes a lot of attention; he loves to play and loves kids. He is potty-trained. He prefers to play outside during the day and sleep in the house at night. He is very smart and knows his commands. A fenced yard would be best, and a home with no cats. He hopes to find an energetic family that can appreciate his happy, puppy-like personality. He is available for adoption at the Cortez Animal Shelter, located at 2791 E. Main St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and open every other Friday. The shelter will be open this Friday. This week, the shelter desperately needs adult dry dog food (Purina, Pedigree, or Iams); the shelter is almost out. The shelter also needs adult dry cat food, nonclumping cat litter, dish soap, Pine Sol, paper towels, and pig ears for the pups. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
