Dear Editor:
Budget season is upon special districts in our community. Please take a few minutes of your day and attend the budget discussions held for the next two months at each district that touches your life. This is your government that directly affects your life. Learn from your districts how their budgets are dwindling and services will be restricted if the citizens of Montezuma County do not stand with them when they reach out to you for a mill levy increase. Dont cast your vote in upcoming elections without knowing for yourself what is true. Your participation in this process ensures your voice is heard.
