Osprey Packs plans a spring sale for locals on Friday, May 12, and marketing representative Sam Mix says there will be a large selection of items.
“It’s a pretty far-ranging, broad array of Osprey packs,” he said.
The sale takes place May 12 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Osprey headquarters in Cortez, 115 Progress Circle.
There will be lots of new items from the company’s spring 2017 product line at the sale, as well as some that were left over from the last locals sale in October, Mix said. Items will include men’s and women’s packs, technical packs, luggage and travel items, he said.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Montezuma School to Farm Project, Mix said. The Breast Cancer Prevention Partners Climb Against The Odds also will benefit, he said. The climb is a fundraising campaign that benefits breast cancer prevention and culminates with a team of climbers that will summit Mount Shasta in June, according to the group’s website.
Mix recommended that people attending the sale get there early to get in line.
“That’s always a good thing to share,” he said. “We’ll have just about something of everything we offer.”
