Phelps honored

$PHOTOCREDIT_ON$Former RE-1 teacher Kay Phelps was honored at the 2011 International Alliance for Invitational Education World Conference with an Outstanding Research Award in acknowledgement of her examination of culturally responsive family engagement. After earning her doctorate from Fielding Graduate University School of Educational Leadership and Change in 2010, Phelps has worked as a professional developer specializing in creating learning communities, and will join the Fort Lewis adjunct faculty this winter.
