Many thanks to Shawn Collins and Patsy for helping us gather these volunteers and for the use of the Cultural Centers road signs. We would also like to recognize the youth volunteers from Cortez Middle Schools Positive Youth Advocates: Bethany Levy, Clay Cote, Cameron Miller, Paige Bailey, Cody Canzona, Laurel Chappell, Paola Leon, Tydall Davis and Kelcie Ralstin. Many thanks to Carrie Schnieder for coordinating and collecting these fine youth. We would also like to send thanks to Celeste Aurorean of Kaleidoscope Wellness in Mancos for her generous donation of three gift certificates to give away in the drawings, as well as a thank you to Marla Sitton and the M-CHS Christmas carolers. And a big thank you to Jude and Addie Schuenemeyer and the staff at Let It Grow Nursery & Garden Market for their generous donation of space, coffee, yummy homemade hot cocoa, and muffins. Many, many thanks to our participant runners, walkers and scurryers who showed up to help us celebrate all the great ways our educators in each of our communities rises to the challenge and shares their knowledge and time with our youth. And last but not least, SCYC would like to recognize all the educators in our communities. We so appreciate everything you do to help the youth as they prepare to become healthy, thriving members of the community. We recognize that education comes in all forms and fashions, and we appreciate them all. The Jingle Bell Dash was a successful event and we look forward to ringing out the celebration of education with you all next year!
Happy Holidays!
