Literary Fridays at the Library presents guitarist and entertainer Joey Leone at 10 a.m., Friday, June 23 at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.

Leone was born and raised in Brooklyn and migrated to the hills of Vermont more than 20 years ago, creating a reputation based on his work ethic and guitar. In a typical year, Leone plays in front of over three quarters of a million people, making him one of the most listened to and viewed entertainers in New England. He has shared the stage with Chaka Khan, Wilson Pickett, Bruce Willis, Albert Collins and Etta James. He has performed in 22 countries and 49 states.
