Shes a real mamma-jamma, is how the song goes. This big, rotund girl is built for comfort, not for speed. She probably became lost, since she was obviously very well-fed before being found as a stray. Shes an adult spayed long-haired calico white, orange and grey with intense yellow eyes. Everyone who sees her says, Wow! One of her other distinctive features is that she has no voice; it is unknown if she was surgically silenced or if this is just the way she is. Shes very affectionate and people-oriented, and really loves to get petted; if a human doesnt happen to be available, shell use this park bench. Once she spots you, shell come lumbering up to (silently) say hello. She should have an owner who will pay attention to her food intake she definitely needs to go on a diet, and should have high fiber food. She will need some dental work, but there is assistance in place to help pay for that. Please consider opening your home to this big, lonely, chubby girl, or one of many other deserving dogs, cats, puppies, or kittens and make this new year a chance for a happy life for one of them. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays. The shelter will be closed this Friday for a dog training session. Right now, the shelter needs Iams puppy or kitten chow, Purina or Pedigree adult dog food, Iams or Purina cat food, non-clumping cat litter, and all sorts of dog chews or rawhides to keep the dogs and puppies there occupied. The shelter desperately needs some dish soap, and could also use cleaning supplies such as bleach, Pine Sol, and paper towels. Its a good time to welcome the new and furry love of your life.
