West La Plata County residents one step closer to water

Deadline to sign up for taps is July 10
Canyon Construction builds the pipeline near County Road 210 on Friday that will carry water from Lake Nighthorse to Lake Durango’s reserves, where it will later be distributed to west La Plata County residents. Taps cost $10,000 and residents using 3,000 gallons of water a month can expect a monthly bill of $135.
