Dove Creeks six-game winning streak came to an end Thursday night at home.
The Lady Bulldogs basketball team got 11 and 10 points from Cori Guynes and Zoey Young.
However, the visiting Telluride Miners were too much in the second and third quarters. Dove Creek lost, 43-33.
Young also recorded seven rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs.
Dove Creek played host to San Juan Basin League foe Ignacio on Friday night. Results werent available at press time.
The Lady Bulldogs will stay at home for their final nonconference game when they host the Navajo Prep (Farmington, N.M.) junior varsity at 5 :30 p.m.
Dove Creek defeated Navajo Prep on the road Jan. 12, 55-27.
