Ah, that wet puppy smell. These two 9-week-old shepherd mix puppies shown here fresh from a bath have found themselves at the shelter and are hoping for a great home. The brown sable is a female, and the black and tan is a male. They come from a litter of five. These two will grow up to be wonderful dogs, and would be terrific pets for a family. They will need a fenced yard and as puppies do a lot of toys to play with. Please consider opening your home to one of these winning puppies, or one of many other deserving dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats, and give one of them a chance for a happy life. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays; they will be closed this Friday and Monday for the Presidents Day holiday. Right now, the shelter needs Iams puppy or kitten chow, Purina or Pedigree adult dog food, Iams or Purina cat food, non-clumping cat litter, and all sorts of dog chews or rawhides. The shelter always needs dish soap and dishwasher detergent (powder). It may be time to welcome home the new and possibly fuzzy love of your life. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
